PB JOHN 5

This design was inspired by a story in the Bible that's found in the book of John chapter 5.  Jesus was in Jerusalem with his disciples celebrating a big Jewish holiday.  There was a place there called the pool of Bethesda.  Crowds of people with all kinds of physical and mental struggles gathered there.

There was a guy there was born disabled and wasn't able to get around without help.  The myth was that an angel would come around every so often and stir up the water, and the first person in the water would be healed.  Jesus pulls up and asked this guy, " Do you want to be made whole?"  The man explains he has no one to help him to get in the water.  Jesus tells him, "Rise take up your bed, and walk!"

But for this PB Drop, we flipped the scene to one of our home breaks -Huntington Beach Pier, Southside.  Jesus just caught a huge wave, come in cruising and sees the crippled due and says in Pidgin " Brah, you like get betta? Get up!  Grab your dakine bed and we go!!"

This design is a reminder:  Even if you've been stuck - physically, mentally, spiritually - Jesus can still pull you out, get you up, and get you moving again.
