Christmas in that Sweet Spot

Christmas in that Sweet Spot

Christmas in that sweet spot!!

In Colossians 1:19 it says, “For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell”.  But who is the “him” that the Bible is referring to?

1 Timothy 4:10 calls him the “Savior”, Job 19:25 calls him the “Redeemer”, John 6:35 calls him the “Bread of Life”, Matthew 16:16 calls him the “Son of the living God”.  Our calendars even boast of him.  This year is two thousand and twenty–two years since his birth.

That’s why the Christmas season is so awesome!  It’s a time to celebrate the birth of “him” - Jesus Christ.  We hang lights on our trees and homes as a symbol of what Jesus proclaimed, “I am the light of the world:  he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life” John 8:12.  We give gifts just like he gave us the gift of overcoming death and sin.

As you’re hustling and bustling, our hope for you this Christmas season is that  you’d remember what the season is all about -

Jesus, that sweet spot!!
